The century-old Japanese sauce brand Otafuku has teamed up with Taiwan’s renowned Ichisagi Charcoal Yakitori Workshop to launch a collaborative menu of creative dishes in mid-December, offering a new experience of authentic Japanese flavors. Four Ichisagi branches will simultaneously roll out four innovative dishes inspired by Otafuku's classic sauces. These include:
Chicken Meatball Skewers with Okonomiyaki Sauce
Chicken Fillet Skewers with Okonomiyaki Sauce
Karaage Fried Chicken with Nanban Sauce
Stir-Fried Pork Udon with Japanese Sauce
These dishes combine the rich and savory flavors of Otafuku sauces with Ichisagi’s premium charcoal-grilling techniques, allowing Japanese cuisine enthusiasts to savor authentic regional flavors right in Taiwan.
In addition, Otafuku’s small-pack classic sauces (Okonomiyaki Sauce and Japanese Yakisoba Sauce) are now available at Carrefour stores across Taiwan, making it convenient for small households or beginners to recreate Japanese restaurant-quality dishes at home. Starting mid-December, Ichisagi Charcoal Yakitori Workshop will update its menu with these offerings.
