The round was led by Unlock Venture Partners, with participation from SparkLabs Taiwan, Grand Vision Ventures, PatientsForce, and LINE's corporate venture capital arm, Z Venture Capital (ZVC). The funding will be used to drive the internationalization and multilingual market development of its products, "SeaMeet Meeting Assistant" and "SeaChat Smart Customer Service System," while deepening its collaboration with LINE.
Seasalt.ai specializes in speech recognition technology for multilingual and mixed-language speech (such as Mandarin and English), aiming to provide high-quality AI applications for smaller language markets. SeaMeet can instantly transcribe Google Meet and in-person meeting minutes, generating action items to improve meeting efficiency. SeaChat combines voice and text functionality, can be set up in just 10 minutes, and can be deployed directly on the LINE platform to provide multilingual smart customer service, helping businesses optimize customer experience quickly.
Investors such as ZVC, LINE, and SparkLabs Taiwan are optimistic about Seasalt.ai’s technological advantages and application potential. They emphasize its multilingual processing capability combined with generative AI, which helps improve business customer service and marketing efficiency, creating global business opportunities. The founding team of Seasalt.ai, which has deep experience in academic research and successfully established its predecessor, KITT.AI, is now expanding its R&D and business operations in Taiwan.
