Taipei’s double-decker dining bus will officially launch its 12th season menu on October 16th. In collaboration with Taipei Regent Hotel, this season will feature classic, Michelin-star-level dinners and afternoon tea, offering citizens an extraordinary culinary experience.
The delightful menu includes fresh shrimp brioche burgers and oven-roasted beef brioche burgers. Fresh shrimp or oven-roasted beef is mixed with parsley and lemon mayonnaise, then sandwiched between homemade brioche bread with lettuce and pickles. The sweet shrimp and soft brioche bread create a perfect combination. For afternoon tea, there are fruit tarts made with imported French vanilla beans, paired with the sweet and sour taste of grapefruit, and brownies made with 70% Valrhona premium chocolate, both of which are irresistible.
In addition, there are exquisite desserts such as French macarons and raspberry madeleines, as well as the eye-catching "Red Jade Full Chicken Cake" served during afternoon tea, each a carefully crafted masterpiece.
The Chinese dinner offers fresh shrimp and fish roe salad, squid and meatball soup, and braised boneless beef short ribs with Okajima chili bean paste and sweet bean paste, or an Iberian pork option. Both meats are tender and flavorful after being baked and steamed. Pearl egg tarts and osmanthus red bean cakes are the featured desserts, and a vegetarian set meal is also available to cater to different dietary needs.
Taipei’s double-decker dining bus has five four-seater tables and three two-seater tables, and operates from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday, with three dining sessions per day. A special event includes a limited-edition commemorative coaster for the birthday person of the day. Additionally, the bus is available for corporate or group charters from Tuesday to Sunday during the lunch period, allowing various groups to enjoy this unique dining experience.
